AMBULATORY ECG MONITORING

Ambulatory ECG Monitoring (AMB)

This involves 3 electrodes and a small monitor being fitted to the chest from 1 day up to 7 days, depending on the frequency of your symptoms. It is a useful test not only to determine the cause of palpitations or dizziness, but also to look at any abnormal heart rhythm that can increase the risk of heart attacks or stroke.
